Raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Dr. Friedlander graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Psychology. He earned his Masters Degree in Social Work from Washington University in 1979. Dr. Friedlander worked as a camp director at the New Jersey YMHA camps from 1979-1981. He received his Veterinary Degree from Iowa State University in 1987. He has been practicing at Animal Medical Hospital since 1989. Dr. Friedlander's interests include avian and exotic medicine. Additionally, he has attended several continuing education seminars in veterinary ultrasound. Dr. Friedlander had the unique opportunity to spend time at Vet Med Referral in Santa Fe, NM where he gained valuable experience with their expert ultrasonographer. His hobbies include yoga, rock climbing, and canoeing.
